The Carpenter's Arms

Under new management and everything looks promising - a neighbourhood pub with an obviously experienced and confident team in the kitchen providing an interesting menu. Staff are friendly and efficient and whether you sit outside in the yard - greenery and little lights as the sun goes down - or eat inside, where the tables are spread round the main room, it's well worth visiting. Cheerful staff, great food, sensible prices - a real asset to the area.
