We visited this restaurant for the first time this week having read good reviews on London-Eating. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is quite large and had quite a few customers despite it being mid-week. The decor reflects quality and is very pleasant. The staff were friendly and efficient; they are genuine Vietnamese. The food was well presented and very tasty. I can certainly recommend this restaurant if you want a quality Vietnamese meal in good surroundings.

Food 8 | Service 8 | Atmosphere 8 | Value for money 8
We visited this restaurant pre-theatre based on the good reviews we saw on this website. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent and 'home-cooked' with very adequate proportions and a chef who understands sauces. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality of the food and in addition to the pre-theatre menu, the a la carte has a 15% discount if you have at least two courses but all diners at the table must select a la carte. The pre-theatre menu offered a reasonable choice of dishes and the a la carte offered dishes of the day as well as the standard menu. We will return to Stranded.

Food 8 | Service 9 | Atmosphere 6 | Value for money 8
Had a great meal on 17th Aug. Visited between 6 and 7pm and selected off the set menu. After the good first course we were told that they had run out of the mains we had ordered and were extremely apologetic and offered us an 'upgrade' of anything on the A La Carte menu and an additional starter! Even the chef came to apologise. We were impressed by the excellent attitude of all the staff and the excellent food which was cooked exactly right, well presented and very appetising. The cost was reasonable bearing in mind the decor, service and food quality. We will certainly return.
