Busaba Eathai (Wardour St)

When I decided to go to this place it was a spur of the moment decision and it seemed really nice on the outside.

The decor on the inside is really nice too, it is only good if youre okay with being seated with people you dont know on large tables and prefer more of a casual atmosphere. However, coming from Thailand & Hong Kong, this really felt like home!

Unfortunately, I could not say the same about the food or the service. Firstly, they have many appealing drinks on the menu and almost half of them were not available. I was told the kettle or some kind of machine for making hot drinks was broken, so they couldnt serve any of their creative hot teas. The prices dont match the food very well. The vegetable curry was more watery than anything and was way too bland. The rice portions were quite small compared to the amount of curry they give. It appeared that my friends' chicken curry was not as bad, but still lacked that thai flavour. They probably missed out the right amount of cocononut milk, fresh basil and lemongrass!

The service too was unattentive and rushed, make it a bit too much of an an effort to order and eat.
