Having worked in the industry for many years I often have a reoccurring dream that I am working in the kitchen, the restaurant is full of customers, but no matter how hard I try no food is not coming out of the kitchen.I get the impression the kitchen staff at Niksons must experience this every night.

Our group of 10 on a Saturady night had to wait 80 minutes before we saw any food! The restaurant manager did his best ease the pain by offering free bottles of wine and the waiter went one better by pouring it over one of the customers trousers. Even though it was one of the most painful experiences I've had in eating out we all had a good time probably due to the amount of wine that was consumed in waiting for our meal and the understanding of the management and excellent atmosphere of the place.
