Tandoori Raj
Tandoori Raj near Holborn is a small, attractive restaurant serving a wide variety of standard and "chef's special" dishes. Service was very fiendly and attentive, the food well prepared, nicley presented and tasty. Presentation and cleanliness were also excellent making the visit a real pleasure. Will definitely use this restaurant again, the 50% offer makes it exceptional value,

Stay Bar and Brasserie
Stay bar and brasserie offers excellet food and service but unfortunately was so quiet when we went on a Tuesday evening. Staff attentive and portions of food large and still excellent quality. Large schoice on set menu.

S&M Cafe (Spitalfields)
We loved this! Great service from a lovely lad with a Gallic accent, good bangers and mash, even if slightly more tanned than expected. Like the other half said:"It does what it says on the tin!"

Clause Bar
Clause Bar is a good fun place to go for a leaving/birthday/celebration with a whole bunch of friends. It does get busy so booking a table or area is pretty much vital. We had waitress service all night on drinks alone which made a nice change not to hang around a bar every so often. Happy hour made it all the more worth while and I would definitely go back again. Oh - the dj should vary his tunes rather than sticking to what he likes!

China Delight
China Delight is a very authentic Chinese restaurant with a not too wide but very adequate menu. Tables offer a degree of privacy so good for a business meeting. The food was good and reasonably priced.

Balls Brothers (Lime Street)
Balls Brothers' restaurant on Lime Street is furnished and decorated like a gentlemen's club and we enjoyed having the large dining room to ourselves mid-week - so my low mark for ambience was simply because some people like to watch others and there weren't any! The bar next door was busy. Our waitress was probably new and, whilst she was attentive, she did not know much. Fish was over-seasoned to our taste - we don't cook with salt at all.
