I went to Giusto because of the rave reviews of the pizza, but found a serious Italian restaurant. Short menu, high quality Italian food like you'd find in Italy (where I lived for two years). Today's special was wild mushrooms, which we were offered pretty much any way we wanted them - on pasta, in risotto, or - as I chose - with the tender slices of steak usually served with a balsamic reduction. Not cheap - a three course meal for two with coffee, water, wine and (almost too attentive - not necessary to refill wine and water glasses every five minutes - friendly) service runs between £70 and £100, but if you appreciate good Italian food you'll feel you've had great value for your money by London standards. No tablecloths, just generous linen napkins, looks more like a pizzeria than an upmarket restaurant. House cabernet sauvignon good value by the glass, half litre or bottle.
