Cecconi's
Had a delightful lunch (an escape from the sales !!!) in this chic, busy restaurant. Fun for people watching. We had beautifully cooked calamari to start followed by baked cod and freshly cooked pasta of the day. Service was friendly and attentive. Liked the good small touches like warm milk served with coffee (many places dont do this). We go to Cecconi's about 4-5 times a year and the food is consistantly good

Oxo Tower Restaurant
Five of us went to this delightful restaurant for our daughter's birthday. It was an OUTSTANDING experience. The setting on the 8th floor of the tower provides stunning views across the river to St Pauls and other landmarks. Go early and get a table beside the window. The food is highly creative and beautifully presented. The service is immaculate. This is a high end restaurant and you pay accordingly, but it is not over priced for what you get. Allowing for wine and service, it will cost £70-90 per head.

Manorom Too
Five of went for a pre-theatre dinner which was excellent. It was our first time at the restaurant and we had gone there based on previous reviews. It is a nice intimate, casual dining spot. The spring rolls and chicken satay were both excellent starters. We all enjoyed our green chicken currys and roast duck in a red curry sauce. The service was very good. Total cost, including beers and service was £30 per head. Would strongly recommend Manorom Too as a very good casual dining spot beside the Covent Garden piazza.
