There are two different French steak-frites restaurants that opened in London in 2004, and it's terribly easy to mix them up. (Michael Owden has clearly mixed up the two restaurants, and there's no telling how many other contributors to this series of reviews may have done the same.)
Le Relais de Venise (known to aficionados as simply "L'Entrecôte") is indeed very good, and well worth visiting. I'm a devotee myself. But its new London location is in Marylebone Lane.
This group of reviews is about an unrelated steak-frites restaurant called "L'Entrecôte Café de Paris" in Baker Street. It gets its sauce from the original Café de Paris in Geneva, and has no connection to Le Relais de Venise.
