Durum Ocakbasi

Turkish doesn't really get much better than this! Have been going for years and have never had a bad meal. Love that you can sit and watch the fish and meat being cooked on the open fire. Best lamb chops ever!

Going tonight, can't wait!

Lucky Seven

Excellent food - although the staff seem to have a bit of an attitude which is the only disappointing thing about Lucky 7. We actually go here rather than GBK now. Great burgers, onion rings and some of the best guacamole I've ever had!

Best place to go for breakfast! We love it at Banners, never had a bad meal. Specials are always interesting, inventive and delicious. Never had particularly bad service, maybe a little slow at times but just put that down to it always being so busy in there.

Can't wait to go for dinner tomorrow night!

Hache (Camden)

Being a huge GBK fan, I was amazed when my sister told me she had found somewhere better. I went to Hache last night with my boyfriend and let's just say we won't be going back.

Upon arrival, the atmosphere seemed to be quite buzzy which was a good sign. We were shown to a table and after about 20 minutes had to ask if it was OK to order as no one had been to even ask if we wanted a drink.

I ordered the camembert burger and my boyfriend ordered the Canadian. His arrived after about 20 minutes with the fries. The waiter then brought mine a few minutes later - and it wasn't what I ordered. I was told there was no more camembert left, so they'd made me a mushroom burger - which obviously wasn't what I wanted. I then asked if they could replace the camembert with goat's cheese which they said they could. After another 10 minutes my 'goat's cheese' burger arrived, which was in fact a camembert burger as they'd found some more.

I wish they hadn't bothered. It was so average. Nothing tasted fresh, the roasted sweet peppers tasted like they'd come out of a jar and been thrown on a griddle for a few minutes. Needless to say I didn't eat much of this burger, I ate half - but only because I was so hungry.

The only good thing about the meal was the beer. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, we thought the food was overpriced and I refused to pay for my burger, or any service charge - as we didn't get any. We couldn't wait to get out of there.
