Jai Krishna

We enjoyed an absolutely excellent and very good value quick lunch at Jai Krishna on Sat 8 Dec 2007.

This is a place where the food counts and not much else, e.g. the eating room is in plain cafeteria stylebut thjis is soon forgotten once the food arrives.

We were in a rush and made our picks hurriedly: red cabbage and apple curry (delicious and an original invention of Jai Krishna, chick pea curry (excellent), aubergine curry (excellent). Chapatis were warm and tender. Chutneys (we had Jai Krishna's own mix (very good) and green chili chutney (hot and flavoursome).

A return visit is a must so as to explore the menu more fully. Service was very freindlty.

Recommend highly to anyone who cares about food.
