Feng Sushi (Borough Market)

I've been going to this restaurant less and less because the quality of the food has been going down considerably, and to tell the truth the only reason i've been there recently is because it's very close and I haven't been bothered to travel into the city for real sushi.

I've always been disappointed with the food. I can only imagine anyone who thinks it is good is probably someone who buys 'sushi' from supermarkets.

The rice in all the dishes is just plain wrong! It reminds me of the food in YO Sushi, most of which is pre-rolled and kept in the fridge in cling film.

In relation to the price it is robbery!

So to sum up...

Rice too thick around the rolls.

Rice tastes like it has been kept in the fridge

Amount of actual fish in the rolls is way too small

Sashimi too expensive.

Avacado hard on many occasions.

Take the 25 pounds you would have spent here and go to a real sushi bar in the west end and still have money to spare for a drink or 2.

Hing Loon

A good all round chinese restaurant. Nothing fancy but a good standard. Fairly salty, especially if you go for the Smoked Chicken, Hot and Sour Soup, Duck, Shredded Chilli Beef..ummm this is making me hungry. Great staff as well and very cheap.
