I think this place is superb in every way and I dine out in London fairly frequently. I brought my friends here for a Christmas works do, they looked after us so well, all my work collegues raved about the place for weeks after. It is the best Christmas works dinner i have ever had. Johnnie and his staff are really friendly, and his food is simple, beautiful fayre. I have returned since with family and they loved it.

Its also warm, and there is plenty of space between tables so you are not cheeck by jowel with your neighbour like you are in so many other restaurants.

The menu seems to to be updated daily, which also really appeals.
