Flavour by Scott Levi

My husband and I took some close friends here for dinner last night. We had been here before but for lunch only and the atmosphere was entirely different. We had drinks in he downstairs bar first (a lovely start to the evening|) and then went up the beautiful staircase to the wonderful dining room. The room is totally different at night and I was not really expecting this change. We were led to our table, near the window, and were asked straight away if we wanted water. We were quickly brought bread and a wonderful tomato "dip" and the menus. Three of us chose the set and one chose from the main (more expensive) option. The food was absolutely exquisite and the service also. The wine was quite expensive, but given the meal deal, was well worth the price. I don't think I have ever enjoyed a meal so much: it was a great mix of relaxation and sophisitication and the staff were absolutely charming (Full marks to Maria for her friendly but respectful attitude). Would we go again: well we have booked to come back for dinner with another couple in three weeks time but I am sure that I will be back for lunch before then. What a find! And what a position! I am only sorry we didn't discover this place years ago.
