Val Tar

Firstly, the restaurant is called Val Taro, not Val Tar!

Used to visit here a lot when I worked in the area in the late 1990s before I went to live in Italy, and returned last week for the first time since then. Pleased to see that the food is still authentic Italian, reasonably priced and well-prepared.

Atmosphere was a little flat, but it was lunchtime. Evenings might be busier and livelier!

I can highly recommend this restaurant – the mixed antipasti starter and gnocchi al gorgonzola are particular favourites!
