Rock and Sole Plaice

Went here after reading the 'rave' reviews and due to lack of other chippies in covent garden. I expected it to be about a fiver, it was seven pounds !

Haddock was the usual heavily battered fat-dripping business and the chips were overcooked. Horrendously over-priced and over-rated average chippie. Felt like I'd been robbed. There's a pub on Villiers street that will give you better fish and chips, dressings and friendly table service for less money.
