Village East

My boyfriend and I ate at Village East on Saturday night with another couple following a recommendation from a colleague and we had a great time. Everyone agreed the food was very good, even my boyfriend who is a fussy vegetarian.

As a vegetarian, it was good to have more choices than we often have but each starter was cheese based (and one wasn't available on the night). A little more imagination would be good as not all vegetarians want to eat a lot of cheese. The roast vege & couscous was so tasty - best I've eaten but personally I would've preferred less couscous and more vegetables.

Would definitely go again - a real find for a meal but perhaps not for a drink as the bar was crowded and very noisy
