Trattoria Nuraghe

A perfect Sardinian hide-away next door to an old Irish boozer? Strange but completely true, & very Tufnell Park. Everything about Trattoria Nuraghe shows warmth & heart; the cosy walls, decor & terracotta dishes replicated in the amazingly warm & friendly service. The smells & look of the magnificently portioned food only beaten by the stupendously, scintillating flavour. The house wine is grand. I can't praise this place enough. This is the sort of local restaurant one dreams of - it's magical.

Norfolk Arms

what a find, and one that makes one bless smoke free London! as one whiles away an evening with wonderfully well sourced tumblers of wine, and tasty tapas.

An Iberian heartland in Russell Square, with none of the attendant nicotine fumes.

This expansive pub seems to offer all one would what;

* a more than decent (& reasonable) wine list,

*some real ale & larger,

* bottled beers (including non-alcoholic)

* stimulating bar snack/tapas menu,

* luxuriant mains & desserts,

* daily specials,

* friendly, helpful and attractive staff.

Who'd have thought an old Victorian gin palace could age so well.

the perfect place to; feel elegantly bourgeois, admire one's fellow diners, & their enviable lifestyles, soak in the Hampstead/Highgate relaxed, comfortable ambience, and eat some mighty fine organic fare.

The various breads are delicious, the salads sublime, the coffee organic milk treats, & the service friendly & efficient.

A very happy experience all round whatever the time of day.

WOW Simply Japanese

A wonderfully full on Japanese restaurant, bar any brusqueness that one too often encounters.

The staff are wonderfully gracious; kind, and friendly, without being intrusive in any way.

The decor is stylishly, & warmly, minimal; the atmosphere one of buzzing content, and most importantly the food is divine!

The quality of the fish, & all ingredients used, shines through, and as one would expect it's presented magnificently. The lightly, seared tuna & asparagus salad is a treat on the tongue.

Well worth a trip to Crouch End.
