C & R Cafe Restaurant

Went here last Saturday, quick bite to eat before moving on for the evening.

Food was good, but the service....If that's what you could call it, was appalling. Greeted with no more than a grunt, and the menu thrown on the table, I honestly think the waitress said no more than two words to us all the time we were there. It felt like we were doing them a favour.

No smile, no please, no thank you.

No tip.

OK, For a bite to eat before moving on elsewhere for the evening, you could do a lot worse. Food was good, hot, reasonably priced, and came quickly.

Biggest dissapointment (and reason for writing this review) was the service, (or lack of it).

Waitress was surly to say the least, no please or thank you, at any time during the meal, pointed to the table when we asked for a table for two and threw the menus down. It felt like they were doing us a favour by letting us be in there.

No smiles, No thank you's, No service, and I supposed you've guessed it.......

No tip.
