Mon Plaisir
Pas de plaisir - strictly for nostalgia. My first visit today. Typically French, limited menu, casually executed, overcooked steak, bearnaise sauce out of a jar, good chips. Dessert came out of the kitchen with a chef who was prepared to send out a burnt shortbread biscuit with the potted cream. As we now all know - don't eat in restaurants, however humble, where the chef doesn't care about what goes out of the kitchen. Cute decor but was it worth 115 quid for 2 for lunch. I think not,
