Mangosteen Thai Restaurant
Having been to Thailand a few times I know what Thai food should taste like and usually end up disappointed when I have Thai food back in the UK. This place does very nice Thai food though!
Upstairs is quite cosy and downstairs seems to be ideal for bigger groups. The waiters do tend to forget you a bit downstairs if you're the only ones there, but because the food was so nice, it didn't matter too much.

Mosaica @ The Factory
The food is nice, but there isn't enough of it. Portions here used to be large, and you didn't mind paying over £10 for fish and chips. Now it just feels a bit stingy.

Al Mirage
One of my favourite Tooting curry houses. Brilliant food, good service and recommendations from the staff and nice, fresh juices. Shame that you can't bring your own booze in, but it's no big deal. Better than the overrated Mirch Masala.

Hop & Spice
Really impressed with our first visit to Hop and Spice.
Usually when we go for a curry we stuff ourselves stupid and end up feeling too full. The portions here are just right and leave you feeling content, but not bloated.
The waiter was very helpful and even told us not to order two portions of rice as one would be enough for our chilli chicken and thali dishes. The waitress was also lovely, but a bit too eager to check our table. There's nothing wrong with empty plates being left after a meal for a few minutes.
Nice atmosphere (although not particularly busy), beers recommend depending on the dish you choose. All in all, very good. We'll be back!
