Gordon Ramsay at 68 Royal Hospital Road

My most recent lunch here does not match up with most of what is said about this restaurant. I find the service more like something from 'Are you being served' and food is not three star grub, well if it is, it is a throw-back to the seventies. I thought that the restaurant lacked any soul or character. It felt more like cooking by numbers. Sorry but not good enough.

Bacchus

I really enjoyed my last meal here. They get very good comments on this site but I think it is not that balanced.

Some of my dishes were not that fantastic and one or two ideas still needed working on. The cooking had weak moments as did the service and this will reflect in my scores.

I think I should stay away from this kind of hotel restaurant. I don't like all the fuss, I don't like the other diners and I find more and more I don't like this rich and over the top French style of food. Sorry to be a lone voice.......
