Mangobajito
Mangobajito is my favorite place to go for Sunday brunch. Bea (the main chef and owner) always greets you with a smile and makes you very welcome. The breakfasts are great, with a choice of Venezuelasn, English, Berliner, Eastern and a couple others. There is also a good lunch menu. The value is outstanding and the coffee is very good. The orange juice is freshly sqeezed and you can tell everything is made with love. Homemade pies and cakes to top it off are delicious. Such a shame it's closed on Sundays.
We've had Bea cater several parties at home and her service and food are always amazing. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

Sushi Bar Gen
Sushi Gen has the best Japanese in West Hampstead. The fish is super fresh and everything is made in front of you. I can highly recommend the salmon and tuna sashimi and the hand rolls, they're great!
The restaurant itself isn't very nice, and acts mostly as a takeaway, but I don't mind.

Sarracino
This is our local Italian and we visit it once every two months approximately. The food is reasonably priced, the pizzas are very good and the pastas are good. It has changed hands several times over the years, and the last owners are certainly keeping it up to scratch. The head waiter is very sweet and efficient and tries to accomodate any needs you may have. It isn't pretentious or upmarket, it's very confortable and cosy.
