Cafe Creperie

Do not go here. We sat down and looked at the menu, the crepes are nothing like real French crepes: ham and cheese, bacon and tomato, "Mexican crepes" with chili (I am not making this up). We got up and left. This place is in a food mall off Oxford Street, so it is more about convenience than quality. Save yourself a disappointment.

Diwana Bhel Poori House

We did takeaway from this place and really liked it. Sort of a South Indian veg theme, excellently done. Dosas were terrific. The place was packed with locals when I went in to pick up our food. Unreservedly recommend.

Manouche Wine Bar

A very good wine bar with bistro food to match. Don't be put off by the basement location: once you get inside the patron will make you welcome. We stuck with the simple stuff like escargots, charcuterie, and merguez-frites, but it was excellent. The patron found a couple of wines that went great with it. Around 72 pounds for 3 people, but great value for money spent. Unreservedly recommend.
