Nam Bistro
Not the most glam restaurant on Upper St, but the food's good and its cheap. If there's two of you try the beef wrapped in rice paper - you get all the components, brought to your table and are shown how to assemble the rolls yourself -fun and delicious!

Muna's Restaurant and Bar
Considering what good value it is, how great the food is, and how welcome Muna makes you feel, I can't believe that this place is always nearly empty. I've been a few times now, and its been great every time. Muna will talk you through the menu and make suggestions, she will tell you if she feels you've over-ordered or ordered dishes that are too similar. If you opt to eat in the traditional way the food comes served on injera on a large lazy Susan, so you can all share. Seven of us went for a leaving do and it was really good fun to eat communaly. We had two vegatarians with us and they were provided with their own meat free lazy Susan with out any fuss. Even as the last customers left in the restaurant at 11 on a week night we were offered complimentary tea rather than being ostentaiously cleared up around like you get in so many restaurants. Highly reccomended - if you live in Haringey its well worth a go!
