More restaurant than pub, but still worth a visit. The wine selection by the glass is very good, the beer is more limited with only two lonely looking real ales available. On a busy Friday night the downstairs was filled entirely with diners, and ambiance was of an informal bistro rather than a foodie pub. Staff were cheerful and helpful, if slightly overworked. The food was excellent, and the menu was more imaginative than most at the price range. Tables were crammed together, as seems inevitable in London these days.
