Caribbean Scene

My partner and I visited the Caribbean Scene Royale at Royal Victoria Dock last night as it had been recommended by a friend.

I had the marinated prawns followed by pineapple and mango chicken (which satisfied my curiosity for an unusual chicken dish). This was our first foray into Caribbean food and we feel that we have discovered a tasty new cuisine to satisfy our ever increasing taste-buds.

My partner also ordered the prawns but had the ackee and saltfish money bags as her main.

The service as friendly but could possibly benefit from a few older waitresses.

We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere (relaxed and laid back yet sophisticated). We especially enjoyed the music selection and a number of the cocktails and we are looking forward to a return visit.
