The Quality Chop House

I went last night for dinner with my parents and it could not have been more perfect. Even though it was a busy Saturday night, the staff were incredibly friendnly and helpful, fetching my mother a more comfortable chair, and helping out my father, who's partially sighted. The main courses - the always fantastic fishcake, the steak and kidney pie and my mum's special dish of guinea fowl were all absolutely delicious, and generous portions, too.

The desserts - rhubarb crumble with custard, gooseberry fool and my chcocolate fondant (which they did nicely underdone for me, when I asked....) were terrific. I've never had a bad meal here - and I must have been dozens of times.
