Buona Sera at the Jam
I love sitting upstairs here - great with a girlfriend or with 3 other mates where you can hole up for a good long session. Food is good-ish. Its 'pretty good average' - nothing too exciting or likely to drive you wild. 2 people, 2 courses and 2 bottles of wine - £72. So its not expensive, but then again it shouldnt be given the food. Will definitely go back.

The Butcher & Grill
Went on a friday night - place is nice and spacious so you dont feel cramped, but its busy enough that it keeps a nice cosy atmosphere. Food in general was good, but gets a low score as my steak was cooked medium when I ordered medium rare. Not a major issue, but for a restaurant of this name I think thats inexcusable. Side dishes very tasty, if simple. Wine list very accomodating. Will be going back.

Hmm, something's changed. Went here on Sunday and its just a pub. Service is pub standard, but food was poor - it isnt hard to cook a steak, but they failed to get it right.
