Sofra (Mayfair)

Just had Sunday lunch here and i dont know why some reviewers didnt enjoy it.

Our party of four were given a warm welcome and treated wonderfully. The menu was expansive and our waiter couldnt have been more attentive. Our mixed meze to start was lovely, really tasty and plenty of variety. We wolfed it down. The wine list was fine, if a little pricey, so we stuck to what we knew, a robust Shiraz, or three! Very nice! Our mains were just as good,my chicken shish was perfect, really succulent. All in all the four of us had a great experience.I couldnt reccommend this place enough,Just be aware of loud American women on thier mobile phones! She seemed not to be able to talk quietly, but maybe thats everyone on a phone! PLEASE switch them off when in a restaurant, you really can wait untill later!

Monty's Tandoori Restaurant

I can only agree with the majority of your reviewers,

absolutley my favourite restaurant, and i have been

using it for over twenty years! Yes it gets busy, yes it can feel a bit cramped,

but the staff are always obliging. The menu is predictable but so reasonable.

Very fresh and tasty,something for everyone!

I cannot reccomend this place enough!

The owner is such a lovely man, he always gives you a warm welcome!

Memories of India

Although not cheap,the Osterley branch has a lot going for it.The staff are very attentive and the menu is broad enough for most palates.Surroundings are plush and quite comfortable.The Officers Chops dont quite work, lamb should, in my humble opinion always be pink!However, most, and we have tried them, of the other dishes are great!If you dont mind spicy, and i mean SPICY! food, this should meet all your criteria, a great place for a special occasion! In fact, now i have written this, i want to go again! Treat yourself and go!!!!
