We had a la carte menu this time,everything was superb from start to finish.

Cannot fault the service and certainly not the food.

Arbutus

had diner there last week and it was a big let down.

Also the place isnt good value any more for the food

Burger of squid and mackerel was like rubber with no flavour except salt, I do believe the big pieces in the burger was cuttlefish and not squid like it says on the menu. The good point is the selection of wine is nicely done and affordable.

The cod was dry and over cooked mash potato not even warm

We didn t feel like having puddings and certainly not buy the book who was on display on every table.

Amazing sunday lunch in this busy restaurant in covent garden,same precision in details than during week days,lovely service and incredible food as always

Had smoked salmon ballotine and a stunning idea for vegetarien,caponata of aubergine very tasty.

For main course wild seabass and potato gnocchi with gorgonzola,had the plaisure to taste the both who were succulent.

The dessert just what I like ,simple ,full of flavour and done to perfection.

And to end up the afternoon the lovely homemade lemoncello from the chef !

For a 3 course meal of this quality I wouldn t mind paying more than 19.50£

I do think honestly a lot of restaurant should be inspired about what this team is able to achieve during what we call a credit crunch !!!

I tried it ,waste of time and money,may be ok for tourists.

Seems like the owner is in the restaurant most of the time,but what about the lack of professionnalism from the rest of the waiters.

The wording of the menu sound italien,but the food got no personnality.

For 95£ for two I expect a bit of quality,specialy now there is hundred of restaurants in town include michelin star who got great special offert around 20£ for 3 courses.!!!

I think it is better value to try one of these than a trap for tourist next to oxford street.
