Malabar Junction

We booked to arrive after our visit to the West End Theatre. We were advised the last order was at 11pm. We arrived at 10.40pm. Restaurant virtually empty. We were seated and it took at least ten minutes for the surly waiter to take our drinks order. He returned and took our food order informing us to hurry up as the kitchen was closing and the starters would have to arrive with the main. What can I say.... we were hungry and it was too late to leave.

The food arrived en masse, my wife's rice was cold. The food was good but the feeling that we were being hurried along was clear throughout the meal. I understand people have to get home but if last orders are 11pm what's the window to eat,digest and have a coffee? I had guests and I'd recommended this place to them.......I was dead embarrassed by the appalling service and DGAF (you know what I mean) attitude.

Very disappointed by the service. The food was good. Wont be going there again though or recommending it to anyone.
