Taste of India

I'm sorry to say I disagree with most of the previous reviews. Two of us went there recently and whilst there was nothing especially bad, neither was the food anything special. Much better tasting food can be found just 4 miles away, at the Raj Garden in Welwyn Garden City.

We'd give our starters 8/10, but the mains warrant only 6/10, and the Sag Aloo was poor, 3/10. The rice was sticky and overcooked, so 5/10. Overall our feeling going home was one of disappointment. So the Raj Garden remains the local number 1 choice.

The atmosphere is below-average as it's one large dining room which really needs breaking up a bit, with a few partitions or something.
